Public Trust Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a high-impact team, the contract Sr Data Scientist will leverage advanced data science, AI/ML, and cloud technologies to solve complex research challenges while working remotely and requiring a Public Trust clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to scope questions, support solution design, and facilitate project execution
• Design and implement data ingestion, storage, integration, and management strategies for research datasets
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; PhD preferred
• 5-8+ years of applied data science experience
• Proficiency in Python or R, and strong SQL skills
• Current Principal Data Scientist (PDS) Certification
• Experience processing large datasets and deploying LLMs in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure ADLS/Databricks/Azure ML)
