Job Summary
Leading enterprise cybersecurity incident response operations, the full-time Public Trust Incident Response Lead will manage technical response activities throughout the incident lifecycle, coordinate efforts for high-impact cybersecurity incidents, and serve as the primary technical advisor during major security events in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Direct technical response activities for cybersecurity incidents, including preparation, identification, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis
- Coordinate response efforts and manage incident prioritization, escalation, and operational communications across NIH information systems
- Oversee technical investigations of various cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with NIH policies and federal cybersecurity requirements
Required qualifications
- Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience leading enterprise incident response activities
- Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs and Security Operations Centers
- Active certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or Security+
