Public Trust Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Journeyman Information Security Analyst to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct system security analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
• Perform technology risk assessments and ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance
• 5 to 8 years of experience in information security or IT security operations
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in system security analysis or incident response
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Security+ CE certification required; higher-level certifications preferred
