Public Trust IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Systems Engineer 3 to support the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) with a focus on systems engineering and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering and maintenance activities according to established standards
• Evaluate current IT systems architecture and recommend corrective actions to meet FISMA requirements
• Manage the M365 Entra ID environment and develop disaster recovery strategies for critical systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or administration
• Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, FISMA, and federal IT compliance requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Cisco networking
