Public Trust Jr. Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Jr. Information Security Analyst to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Support information security initiatives and compliance with federal regulations
• Assist in the development and implementation of security measures and risk management strategies
• Conduct assessments and audits of security controls and provide recommendations for improvements

Required Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance
• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in information security or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or an Associate degree plus 2 additional years of hands-on experience
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification (or equivalent) is required
• Knowledge of FISMA, NIST Special Publications, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) is preferred
