Public Trust Licensed SOC Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tier 1 SOC Analyst to support the Congressional Budget Office in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools
• Perform initial triage and validation of alerts, escalating incidents as necessary
• Document incidents and actions taken in ticketing systems and assist with log reviews

Required Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and SOC operations
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, preferably Microsoft Sentinel
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or equivalent
