Job Summary
Providing expert cybersecurity support, the full-time Public Trust Maritime Cybersecurity Analyst will manage system authorization, continuous monitoring, and compliance activities for maritime information systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the MARAD Information Assurance Program, including system authorization and compliance documentation
- Manage and update core documentation related to information systems, ensuring adherence to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Assist in security incident response, risk mitigation, and the development of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in maritime/vessel cybersecurity
- Prior US Navy or Coastguard Maritime Cyber Security experience is highly desired
- Strong knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and federal cybersecurity policies
- Experience with Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and SharePoint
