Public Trust Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to support the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Microsoft Sentinel log ingestion, pipeline health, and monitoring coverage
• Validate, develop, and tune detection use cases aligned with MITRE ATT&CK
• Provide technical support during security incidents and coordinate remediation activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of Security Engineering experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM) operations and engineering
• Familiarity with NIST frameworks and Zero Trust principles
