Job Summary
Supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the full-time remote Public Trust Windows Systems Administrator will manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security baselines and assisting with vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure in accordance with NIH security baselines
- Support enterprise vulnerability scanning activities and validate remediation of security findings
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and Windows authentication services
Required qualifications
- Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain one
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments in a federal or similarly regulated enterprise
- Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Security+, among others
