Job Summary

A company is looking for a Publicist for its BOOM! and Inklore teams, focused on comics and graphic novel publishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute strategic publicity campaigns for various titles, enhancing visibility through media and events
• Provide high-touch author care and maintain communication with authors, agents, and stakeholders throughout campaigns
• Pitch and secure media coverage, write press materials, and oversee author tours and event appearances

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in book publicity or a related field, preferably with comics and graphic novels
• Strong knowledge of the media landscape and a passion for comics and graphic novels
• Proven success in leading national media campaigns with effective pitching skills
• Experience coordinating author travel and events, including multi-city tours
• Familiarity with publicity platforms and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
