Job Summary

Leading publicity campaigns for new releases, the full-time salaried Publicist for Romance will manage media outreach, author tours, and brand-building initiatives while working in a hybrid or fully remote capacity from select states.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage publicity campaigns for Bloom Books and Casablanca, including pitching national media placements
• Develop and execute strategic influencer campaigns to drive awareness and pre-pub buzz
• Plan author tours and launch events in collaboration with internal teams and booksellers

Required qualifications

• At least 4 years of publicity experience in publishing
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in publicity or communications
• Proven ability to pitch and secure national media placements
• Deep knowledge of the media landscape and emerging promotional channels
• Strong project management skills and a collaborative spirit
