Job Summary

A company is looking for a Publishing Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and ongoing development of strategy for a defined journal portfolio segment
• Monitor portfolio performance and implement strategies to enhance growth and engagement
• Develop and manage a team of Publishers and Associate Publishers, providing guidance and professional development

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in scholarly publishing or a related field with increasing responsibility
• Experience managing publishing staff and leading teams
• Experience working with editors, editorial boards, and society partners
• Experience overseeing journal financial performance and strategic planning
• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience preferred
