Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of 20-30 social and behavioral science journals, the full-time Publishing Editor will oversee financial and editorial management, develop strategies for journal performance, and build relationships with stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategies for journal performance, usage, and visibility
• Build and maintain relationships with editors, authors, and internal teams to support journal success
• Monitor financial performance and manage contracts for assigned journals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least two years of publishing experience, preferably with an academic or scientific journal publisher
• Working knowledge of the journal publication process
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated excellent English verbal and written communication skills
