Job Summary

Offering a flexible work arrangement, a Puerto Rico Licensed Optometrist will provide remote eye examinations and consultations using innovative technology, either on a full-time or part-time basis as an Independent Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients remotely using patented technology while ensuring compliance with licensing requirements
• Utilize specialized video conferencing tools to communicate with patients effectively
• Collaborate with Ophthalmic Technicians to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyewear

Required qualifications

• Valid Doctor of Optometry license in Puerto Rico
• Experience with telemedicine or remote patient care is preferred
• Ability to work independently as an Independent Contractor
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Willingness to undergo credentialing and training as needed
