Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Coder Senior with expertise in Pulmonology.

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT codes
• Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher
• Abstract data into electronic medical record systems, ensuring accurate patient dispositions and physician data

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Proven experience in inpatient and/or outpatient coding with a focus on specialty areas
• Certifications in relevant coding fields
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and official coding guidelines
• Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy standards
