Purchasing Analyst

Job Summary

To support pharmacy operations, the full-time remote Purchasing Analyst will collect, analyze, and present complex pharmacy and financial data while developing reporting frameworks and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain analyses for drug purchasing and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) across pharmacy locations
• Create and manage performance reports for payer and PBM analytics to support financial decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into actionable business insights

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmacy analytics, or related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and experience with Python for data analysis
• Experience developing dashboards and automated reporting solutions
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and reimbursement methodologies
