Purchasing and Design Specialist

Job Summary

To support the development of presale client deliverables, the full-time Purchasing and Design Specialist will manage creative program development, sourcing and procurement, negotiation, budgeting, and client/vendor contracting in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with team members and suppliers to ensure timely proposal development for travel projects
• Source rates and availability while strategizing recommendations for destinations, hotels, and venues
• Negotiate competitive rates and terms on behalf of clients, ensuring their best interests are represented in contracts

Required qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years' industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
• Ability to travel and attend presentations as needed
