Job Summary
Responsible for obtaining materials and services at the lowest cost while ensuring quality, the remote Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator will manage day-to-day purchasing activities, negotiate supplier terms, and monitor compliance with procurement policies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily purchasing of parts and supplies to support various departments
- Solicit and evaluate bids, negotiate prices, and create purchase orders through ERP systems
- Oversee inventory levels and assist with vendor proposals and special projects
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of professional experience in a purchasing environment
- Proficient in Excel and Word, with advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Self-organized with a strong work ethic and teamwork mentality
