Job Summary
Managing strategic sourcing and contract administration tasks, the full-time Purchasing Contract Administrator will analyze proposals, negotiate agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual terms while working remotely Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the solicitation of bids and proposals, analyzing responses to determine financial impact
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures for supplies, materials, and services
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain cooperative relationships with department heads
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant education and experience
- Expertise in healthcare contracting and strategic sourcing methodologies
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in complex contract negotiations
- Familiarity with clinical terminology and high-cost surgical implants/devices
- Experience in conducting supplier business reviews and spend analytics
