Job Summary
A company is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to provide procurement support to the Procurement Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process purchase requisitions from internal departments
- Place orders and ensure competitive pricing of products and services
- Monitor orders for accurate and timely delivery and contract compliance
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree in supply chain or accounting preferred
- One year of purchasing or accounting experience preferred
- Previous experience with procurement or enterprise resource planning systems preferred
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor in all business transactions
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs
