Job Summary
A company is looking for a Purchasing Customer Service Assistant to support the Defense Logistics Agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and purchasing material support via email and phone
- Expedite requests for quotes and purchase order shipments
- Process vendor documentation and assist with shipping and payroll discrepancies
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 0-2 years of relevant customer service experience
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in purchasing activities and supplier/vendor expediting is desired
- Prior military sales and material purchasing background is a plus
