Job Summary

A company is looking for a Purchasing Customer Service Assistant to support the Defense Logistics Agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service and purchasing material support via email and phone
  • Expedite requests for quotes and purchase order shipments
  • Process vendor documentation and assist with shipping and payroll discrepancies
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma with 0-2 years of relevant customer service experience
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in purchasing activities and supplier/vendor expediting is desired
  • Prior military sales and material purchasing background is a plus
