Job Summary
Leading a team of buyers, the full-time Manager, Purchasing will drive purchasing excellence through process optimization, cost containment initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while working three days onsite in Scottsdale, AZ and two days remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers and sourcing specialists, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance management
- Drive purchasing optimization initiatives through data-driven supply chain strategies and process improvements
- Partner with sourcing and cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply and compliance with contracts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master's degree preferred
- CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) preferred
- Five years of purchasing experience, including two years in a supervisory role
- Experience in a healthcare supply chain management environment preferred
- Proficient computer skills and ability to analyze supplier and operational data
