Purchasing Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of buyers, the full-time Manager, Purchasing will drive purchasing excellence through process optimization, cost containment initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while working three days onsite in Scottsdale, AZ and two days remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers and sourcing specialists, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance management
• Drive purchasing optimization initiatives through data-driven supply chain strategies and process improvements
• Partner with sourcing and cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply and compliance with contracts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master's degree preferred
• CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) preferred
• Five years of purchasing experience, including two years in a supervisory role
• Experience in a healthcare supply chain management environment preferred
• Proficient computer skills and ability to analyze supplier and operational data
