Job Summary

A company is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to manage purchase orders and maintain inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders with suppliers to ensure consistent stock levels
• Review backordered items and manage the purchase order process from completion to closure
• Assist location managers and accounts payable with closing purchase orders for payment

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role within plumbing or landscape distribution
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Products
• Higher level education preferred
• Experience supporting multiple branches
• Able to handle fast-paced and stressful environments
