Job Summary
To support procurement processes, the full-time remote Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for selecting quality products, administering purchase orders, and building relationships with suppliers while analyzing market trends to make informed buying decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Administer purchase orders and manage requisitions from development to completion
- Review purchase requisitions for budget appropriateness and policy compliance
- Identify potential sources for services or supplies and negotiate pricing with suppliers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in General Business required
- 0-1 year of directly related purchasing experience required
- 2-3 years of customer service support-related work preferred
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, and budget management skills
