Purchasing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a fast-moving entrepreneurial organization, the full-time Purchaser will build supplier relationships, guide purchasing decisions, and collaborate with marketing teams while having the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability and performance
• Review product assortment and pricing to guide purchasing and merchandising decisions
• Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns and enhance product visibility

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or merchandising
• Working knowledge of the knife industry or broader outdoor products market
• Experience in supplier coordination and vendor management within a consumer products environment
• Ability to evaluate pricing and product selection using sound business judgment
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively
