Purchasing Specialist - Packaging

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Purchasing Specialist - Packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain blanket purchase orders for packaging materials across all plant locations
• Act as the liaison between plant buyers, suppliers, and accounts payable to resolve discrepancies
• Analyze packaging material usage, cost trends, and vendor performance to identify improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, packaging engineering, business administration, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in the CPG or food industry
• Demonstrated expertise in film and corrugated materials
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with sourcing and procurement software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
