PV Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, PV Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and ownership of electrical engineering for utility-scale solar PV projects
• Manage external engineering stakeholders and ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards
• Develop electrical sizing and analysis tools, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in utility-scale solar PV electrical engineering
• Demonstrated ownership of electrical scope for large PV projects
• Technical background in power conversion, transformers, inverters, and battery technology
• Experience in developing technical specifications and evaluating major equipment vendors
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for PV systems and their application throughout project life cycles
