Python Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Python Backend Engineer with expertise in AWS and identity integration, this full-time remote position will focus on developing and maintaining backend services, building serverless applications, and implementing secure authentication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of Python backend development experience
• Strong experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless architecture
• Hands-on experience with REST API development and microservices
• Experience with Azure Active Directory/Entra ID integration
