Python Developer

Job Summary

Participating in the optimization and continuous improvement of the software development process, the full-time Python Developer II will develop and maintain software in Python, enhance existing applications, and implement new technologies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications in Python, ensuring code is reusable, testable, and efficient
• Contribute to an analytics program by enhancing existing applications and evaluating system improvements
• Collaborate with junior team members, providing feedback and guidance on their work

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field with three years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with one year of experience
• One year of experience with Object Oriented Programming in Python and JavaScript
• Experience in scalable data application design and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Compute services, including ECS and Lambda
• Proficiency in using databases such as PostgreSQL and MSSQL, and working with REST APIs and microservice architecture
