Job Summary

To support the migration of a machine learning platform, the contract Python Developer will design and implement a custom RBAC layer on an open-source stack, working remotely while leveraging their backend engineering experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a custom RBAC layer to enhance access control capabilities
• Migrate the ML platform from a commercial vendor to open-source components
• Own and scope ambiguous problems, ensuring effective backend and systems design

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend and systems design
• Hands-on experience with MLRun, Nuclio, or similar MLOps/workflow orchestration platforms
• Strong understanding of RBAC patterns and identity/access management concepts
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage ambiguous tasks effectively
