Python Developer

Job Summary

To support a client engagement in the insurance industry, the full-time remote Python Developer will build and maintain Python applications, REST APIs, and data-processing solutions while collaborating with business and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications supporting insurance business processes, including Policy, Claims, Underwriting, and Billing systems
• Build REST APIs and backend services, integrating applications with internal and external systems using APIs and web services
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python backend development experience, including building REST APIs and backend services
• Experience developing applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data processing
• Experience integrating applications through APIs and web services, supporting cloud-based deployments and CI/CD processes
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and secure coding practices
