Python Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full lifecycle of feature development, the full-time remote Python Software Engineer will build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python and Django, while integrating third-party services and ensuring secure data handling.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Python/Django
• Model relational data and manage migrations to keep the data layer clean
• Integrate third-party APIs and handle authentication and encryption of sensitive data

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django or a comparable web framework
• Solid relational database skills, particularly with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Docker and modern CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and authentication flows
• Strong understanding of authentication and security fundamentals
