Job Summary
To support data processing and application development initiatives, the full-time Python Software Engineer IV will write and deploy Python scripts, optimize SQL workflows, and ensure high-quality code delivery in a collaborative environment, with options for onsite in Menlo Park, CA or remote work within the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deploy efficient Python scripts for parsing and downloading large-scale web datasets
- Construct and optimize complex SQL queries for downstream data processing and analytics
- Participate in peer code reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for application sustainability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Python development
- Strong practical experience in Linux environments and shell scripting
