Python Tech Lead

Job Summary

Leading backend development for payment-related products, the full-time Python Tech Lead will take ownership of technical decisions and team delivery while working remotely in a complex payment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead backend development and design scalable solutions for payment processing and integrations
• Make architectural decisions and ensure technical quality while coordinating developers and reviewing code
• Monitor production stability, identify technical risks, and collaborate closely with product, QA, and business stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial backend development experience with strong expertise in Python 3.x and Django
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role, managing backend development work
• Deep understanding of transactional integrity, distributed systems, and performance optimization
• Experience with PostgreSQL and tools like RabbitMQ or Redis
• Fluent in Russian and intermediate+ in English, with mandatory experience in fintech or payments
