QA Analyst
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and passionate about software quality, the remote QA Analyst/Tester will design and maintain automated test suites, execute comprehensive quality assurance testing, and leverage AI-powered tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications using tools such as Playwright
- Build and run automated smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests to validate new features and releases
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or test automation
- Hands-on experience building automated tests with modern frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language used for test automation (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
