QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Automation Engineer III responsible for test automation in agile and waterfall teams for core application projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and write automation test scripts using Ruby Cucumber framework for various applications
• Execute tests, analyze results, track defects, and provide progress metrics to the project team
• Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and advising on testing practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent technical degree preferred
• 7 or more years of relevant work experience preferred
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CAT, CSTP, or CMT are preferred
