QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Portugal & Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Own backend quality end-to-end for Core Tech services, collaborating closely with backend engineers
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites focusing on API, integration, and performance testing
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and continuous improvement of testing infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with backend or platform systems
• Strong experience testing REST APIs and backend services
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Playwright
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps
• Solid understanding of modern backend concepts, including HTTP(S) and JSON
