QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Owning Cypress E2E test coverage for the Bitfinex web platform, the full-time QA Automation Engineer will build and maintain automated test suites, perform manual testing on releases, and contribute to REST API automation, all while working remotely from anywhere in the world within UTC+7/+9 time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and expand Cypress tests across the web platform
• Investigate and debug test failures, reproducing issues manually as needed
• Execute manual regression testing on releases and contribute to REST API test automation

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in roles such as QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or QA Engineer
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with the ability to write clean, readable test code
• Experience with Cypress; familiarity with Cucumber/BDD is a plus
• Proficiency in REST API concepts and test automation tools like Mocha and Chai
• GitHub experience, including branching, PRs, and code review
