QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software development team, the full-time QA Automation Engineer will design and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, API, and distributed systems in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Create and maintain regression, smoke, and functional test suites while integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to enhance testability and conduct root-cause analysis on production issues for quality improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Four or more years of QA automation experience with strong hands-on skills in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience in automating REST APIs and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid SQL skills for data validation and experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle
