QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a temporary remote position who will initially focus on manual testing and test case development before transitioning to automation using Java and Selenium for complex applications with multiple integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Perform manual testing to understand the application and define test coverage needs
• Create and document test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of QA or test automation experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java for automation scripting
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI test automation
• Experience testing complex systems with multiple integrations and end-to-end workflows
• Familiarity with backend data stores such as MongoDB
