QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on modernizing software testing through AI-powered automation, the contract QA Automation Engineer will work remotely to develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites while partnering with developers to enhance testing workflows and improve release cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites using frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test creation, scripting, and debugging while integrating automation into the development lifecycle
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and contribute to automation best practices to expand test coverage across applications

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Development in Test (SDET)
• Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
• Experience creating automated UI and API tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, or another scripting language
• Experience working in Agile development environments
