QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the quality and reliability of semiconductor Process Design Kit (PDK) releases, the remote contract QA Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated regression test suites, design and execute QA test cases, and validate DRC rule decks using industry-leading EDA tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated regression test suites for comprehensive PDK validation
• Design, implement, and execute QA test cases to verify DRC rule deck functionality and accuracy
• Build automation tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and repeatability

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in DRC Coding using Synopsys ICValidator (ICV DRC)
• Experience developing and maintaining automated QA regression suites
• Strong EDA automation, scripting, and software development skills
• Programming experience with Python, C/C++, and other relevant languages
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
