QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Combining strong manual testing skills with experience in test automation, the full-time remote QA Automation Engineer will execute exploratory testing, develop automated test scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high-level manual exploratory testing for new features while building automated test scripts for long-term stability
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify acceptance criteria and advocate for shift-left testing practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies with a Shift-Left mindset
