QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, the full-time remote QA Automation Engineer will validate software systems for manufacturing and compliance-critical applications, ensuring quality through test strategy development, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance test coverage and execution speed
- Translate requirements into test plans and automated test cases, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for reliable execution
- Identify and document defects, assess quality risks, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues and improve test stability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience in QA automation, including building and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
