QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
As a remote QA Automation Engineer, the candidate will design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks for fitness tracking applications while integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks for web, iOS, and Android applications
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and manage the health of those suites
- Develop strategies for testing location-based features, including GPS simulation and device sensor mocking
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 2+ years in test automation
- Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress for web, and Maestro, Appium, XCUITest, or Espresso for mobile
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira or TestRail
