QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a trading platform in Rust, the full-time QA Automation Engineer will design and implement automated tests for trading logic, investigate test failures, and maintain test infrastructure while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and write end-to-end automated tests for trading logic against real exchanges using Kotlin, JUnit 5, and other technologies
- Investigate incidents and test failures, analyzing logs and data to determine root causes
- Validate releases by managing large-scale test runs, filing bugs, and stabilizing flaky tests
Required qualifications
- 3+ years in test automation or backend development in Kotlin/Java or another strongly typed language
- Strong SQL skills and experience with analytical databases at scale, with ClickHouse being a plus
- Practical understanding of REST and WebSocket protocols; experience with FIX or binary protocols is a plus
- Familiarity with gRPC/protobuf, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI / Jenkins
- Linux administration skills, including deployment and diagnostics over SSH
