QA Automation Manager

Job Summary

Leading the automation strategy, the full-time remote QA Automation Manager will enhance the QA team's capabilities by implementing streamlined workflows, modern tooling, and innovative solutions to improve quality and engineering efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of automation frameworks, tooling, and workflows to support scalability and effectiveness in quality assurance
• Expand automation coverage and improve quality signals in CI/CD processes
• Lead, develop, and grow a team of SDETs and QA engineers while fostering cross-functional collaboration

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, SDET, or quality engineering
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers, including coaching and performance management
• Strong programming skills, ideally in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience building or scaling automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Familiarity with integrating automated testing into CI/CD processes
