QA Automation Tech Lead

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of quality infrastructure, the remote-eligible QA Automation Tech Lead will architect global automation frameworks, develop AI-driven tooling for manual QA engineers, and provide technical mentorship across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and innovate global automation infrastructure for product squads
• Build and deploy AI tools to assist manual QA engineers in generating automated tests
• Overhaul and scale Python/Pytest frameworks to support high-concurrency environments

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in QA Automation with 1-2 years in a Lead or Staff capacity
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, including custom library and CLI tool development
• Hands-on experience with modern UI testing frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries and understand relational database architecture
• Experience building infrastructure for other engineers, focusing on developer and QA needs
