QA Automation Test Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the QA Automation Test Engineer II will write test cases, perform automation testing, and validate test data for AWS Connect phone software development while collaborating with a large QA team in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test strategies, scenarios, and cases, while executing tests and documenting defects using Jira
- Identify IVR conditions and prepare smoke testing data, ensuring thorough validation of test data using Postman and Soap UI
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze bugs and contribute to cross-functional projects in a dynamic work setting
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with automation testing and writing test scripts
- Knowledge of AWS Connect and Avaya systems, as well as IVR workflows
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools, specifically Jira
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional team dynamics
