QA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Engineer for a remote contract role focused on manual testing and some automation testing of a client app.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality assurance from project inception to delivery
• Conduct comprehensive testing, track progress, and report defects to stakeholders
• Interact with external clients for onboarding and enhancing existing capabilities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 8+ years of functional testing experience in Banking/Financial Services/Insurance
• Experience with Agile Methodology and API Testing
• Proficiency in Atlassian JIRA and database testing (DB2 SQL)
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
